Just out of curiosity,

I've blogged about your site twice before (I'm a Houston blogger). But I can't help wondering why you are informally recommending an energy company that doesn't have a renewable plan.

In my opinion, it's an ethical and political issue .

The most newsworthy thing about the April prices for Houston is that the 12 month "Gexa Green 12" plan (which is 100% renewable) is now cheaper than Reliant's 12 month coal plan. That's fantastic news! You should be publicizing that.

(I noticed in your March 12 post on green energy that green energy providers are using renewable energy credits (REC's) to give you power, instead of giving you power directly. This is just semantics. Perhaps if enough people switched to renewables, this could change.

That said, I think this is a great website; I just wish you could be more explicit about helping green-conscious consumers to learn their most affordable green option.
