Hi,
Thanks for writing such an interesting article. It’s really good to know about the real estate and home decoration and renovation in detail. You might not think of it often but the fact is that at some point in time every home is going to need the services of an electrician. The electric power that runs our homes with such convenience is a necessary part of our everyday lives. Some homeowners are quite handy at taking care of the small projects such as replacing an old ceiling light fixture or rewiring a wall receptacle. But for the most part, any projects that involve electricity is best lest to a professional Houston electrician.
Finding an electrician should be easy. But finding an electrician that’s right for your job may require some extra work. If an electrician has a state license you can probably assume that he has some capabilities in the field. When talking with Houston electrician, ask to see a copy of his license. Call the local state contractors licensing board to verify any electrician’s license. You also need proof of liability and workers comp insurance and check that the policies are current.
Thanks,

I have been a loyal customer of Reliant Energy for three years now, and I am extremely alarmed at the rising cost of electricity. My home(new) is EnergyStar efficient and only three people reside here, all being out most of the day. After Hurricane Ike, my air conditioner has been turned on a total of six (6) times (only at night) and at 78 degrees. We are from South Florida and are used to heat and humidity, so therefore unnecessary. Heating is gas.My husband and I are both seniors, retired and on a strict income. My husband is on oxygen and a CPAP machine for sleeping and respirtory purposes, but even those items do not merit receiving a bill between 320 and over 400 dollars a month. It has come down to either pay the electric bill or buy medications and food. Extremely sad!! Is there no company which provides better and cheaper service in the Houston area? Please let me know. I am really considering moving out of state to be able to have electrical service without sacrificing my husband's and my own health. I know that we are not the only people in Houston having this problem, but no one has made a comment or offered a viable solution.
