I had same bad experience with customer service. The worst nightmare is that Spark Energy never inform me the TDSP charge. My electric usage is very low. The energy charge is only $25.19 but TDSP charge is $93.28. The average cost ends up to be 47 kWh. This is a big reap off.

Spark Energy is the most incompetent electricity provider available. They have the worst customer service and they will not let you speak to a supervisor. Agents are unable to help solve problems. I cancelled my account over two months ago (which they acknowledge) yet they keep sending me bills which I am responsible for and when I ask for a supervisor to contact me, I have to wait 24-48 hours to speak to one and they never call me! It should not be up to me to call the company over 5 times and spend hours of my time to cancel my account–it is a process which takes a few minutes. I do not recommend them. Choose anyone else with a decent customer service team.
