Bullard Texas, Sexual misconduct by a female teacher

Today in Bullard Texas I was notified that a woman who substitute teaches at the school was arrested for sexually molesting a 15 year old female student. Someone needs to do something about the interviewing process to make sure these sexual predators don’t make it into the schools. This happened back in 2004 and she was officially indicted May 3rd 2007. She was allowed to continue substitute teaching in the Tyler school district even after being indicted.

We don’t know if the interviewer had the right qualifications at this point but good judgement and a good solid background check goes a long way in keeping these type of people out of our schools and away from our children.  Also, after being indicted and still allowing the teacher to teach shows some great misconduct by the school district themselves and a lack of good communication.
