Scorecard

This is a customer complaint report as compiled by the PUCT of Texas that helps to regulate utility companies that are registered in the state of Texas. The Texas electricity providers listed below are ranked from Worst to Best. The prepaid electricity companies have been hit the worst as far as customer complaints go because they are constantly having to disconnect non-paying customers. Due to the nature of working with bad credit customers the pay as you go market gets a lot of disgruntled scenarios related to disconnecting people who fail to pre pay for their electricity on time. Some good Texas electricity companies we work with and are familiar with in this state that have received few customer complaints are with Gexa Energy, Green Mountain Energy, and Startex Power. This complaint scorecard is compiled every month although the Texas PUCT has not done a more recent scorecard now since October 2009. This is the most current scorecard to help Texas energy consumers find the provider with the best customer service record.
